The diagram shows a trapezium ABCDEABCDE such that ABAB is parallel to ECEC and ABCDABCD is a rectangle. It is given that BC=17+1BC = \sqrt{17} + 1, ED=171ED = \sqrt{17} - 1 and DC=17+4DC = \sqrt{17} + 4.

Find the perimeter of the trapezium, giving your answer in the form a+b17a + b\sqrt{17}, where aa and bb are integers.
