0606/12/O/N/24 — Question 1 · 7 marks

The curve y=acosbx+cy=a\,\mathrm{cos}\,bx+c, where aa, bb and cc are integers, passes through the points (π2,2)\bigl(-\dfrac{\pi}{2},-2\bigr) and (0,3)(0,3). The curve has a period of 2π3\dfrac{2\pi}{3}.
(a)
Find the values of aa, bb and cc.
[4]
(b)
