p(x)=2x3+5x2+4x+ap(x) = 2x^{3} + 5x^{2} + 4x + a and q(x)=4x2+3ax+bq(x) = 4x^{2} + 3ax + b.
(i)
Given that p(x)p(x) has a remainder of 2 when divided by 2x+12x + 1 and that q(x)q(x) is divisible by x+2x + 2, find the value of each of the constants aa and bb.

(ii)
Given that r(x)=p(x)q(x)r(x) = p(x) - q(x) and using your values of aa and bb, find the exact remainder when r(x)r(x) is divided by 3x23x - 2.
