The diagram shows sectors AOBAOB and CODCOD of two circles with the same centre, OO. Angle AOBAOB is 3π8\dfrac{3\pi}{8} and the length of OCOC is 6.56.5. It is given that OACOAC and OBDOBD are straight lines and OA:OCOA:OC is 4:54:5. Find the perimeter of the shaded region.

The diagram shows a circle with centre OO and radius aa. Sector PQRPQR is a sector of a different circle with centre RR and radius yy. Angle OPROPR is ϕ\phi. Find, in terms of aa and ϕ\phi only, the total area of the three shaded regions. Simplify your answer.
